Describing Cambridge(3)









This is Cambridge Market Square, open 6 days a week. It sells food, clothes, and other goods, with souvenirs in summer. On Sunday, there are craft stalls and a Farmers' Market. There is also lot's of hands made food, accessorise and clothes.

Many tourists visit Cambridge each year to see the historic university, its buildings and the beautiful Backs. King's College Chapel is the most famous building in Cambridge. Cambridge University is made up of different colleges. The colleges buildings are usually arranged around courts. It is possible to walk round some of these and visit chapels and halls. Some colleges charge an entrance fee.

Cambridge is a small city in eastern England (East Anglia). The city's area is 41 square kilometres. The population in 1991, excluding students, was 91,933. The University of Cambridge has more than 16,500 full-time students. More than 3,500,000 tourist visit the city each year.
Cambridge lies on the River Cam, and there are lot's of Cafes and restaurants along the river side such as Cafe Uno,Costa Cafe and Subway. Cambridge is the is the county town of Cambridgeshire. Nearby towns and cities include Ely, Newmarket, Bedford and Peterborough.

Want to know who I am?

Hi my name is Norah i am 21 years old, I grew up in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah). My family consisted of Me, My older sister and my Mother. Igraduated from Air Diffence High School in 2005, i have completed 2 years in Business Administartion at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.

Currently i live in London and i am studying at London Metropolitan University, i am going to complete my bachelor degree here in London..

the Zen story (How much longer)


Once upon a time an art student went to visit her teacher she had been worrying about her studies and she needed her teacher's advice the teacher was sitting next to an ant hill while he was watching the insects the student explained her visits she said i am concerned to studying your martial arts system i have been studying it for many years i want to know how long will it take to become an advanced student?

The teacher continued to watch the ants, then he said: "Maybe another ten years".
The student wasn't pleased with this answer. One of her friends had studied with another teacher and reached an advanced level in five years. The student answered "But i want be an advanced student much faster than that. I will study hard. I will practice every day, ten hours a day if i have to. How long will it take then?"

The teacher thought for a moment an then he repllied: "Maybe twenty years."
