Reflective writing on the pre-sessional course and university study

At the beginning when the admission office reject my application and they offer me conditional offer which is three month pre-sessional linked with my degree i was upset the my mother tried to persuade me to do it by telling me the positive side of doing this course, although i wasn't happy with that offer at first but now i really appreciate doing it and i highly recommend it for the international students for many reasons but the most important one is the differences between the education system in your country and in the UK.The pre-sessional course will answer most of the ambiguous questions that you have, it also give the right structure you need if you aim to get higher grades. So as a student who has been studying pre-sessional course for three months and about to start my degree i can tell myself that this course worth it and you won't regret doing it.

London visit

I went to ST.Paul's Cathedral last week with my sister and her colleagues from London Stock Exchange; it is located in the heart of the city centre and easily accessible by public transport. The nearest underground station is ST.Paul's on the central line.

Cathedral has always played more than one role in the communities its serve. Its main purpose is to bring people closer to the God as well as an attractive destination for the tourism.

Throughout the history a huge expansion has been made from 314 AD to 2008, under many names have given their lives up in order to maintain the power for ST.Paul’s cathedral.

It contains seven main levels, they’re from the bottom to top: The crypt, cathedral floor, whispering gallery which is 99 feet, stone gallery which is 173 feet, then the dome which is the most important part, after that the golden gallery which is 280 feet and finally the bells which is 355.5 feet.

Actually it was a very nice experience for me and i highly recommend everyone to go there.

Social programme activity

I recently went on a family holiday to Centre Parcs and have to say it was the most enjoyable experience i have ever done in my life. As a family we thought hard about where to go at short notice, and as none of us have ever been to a Centre Parc before we thought we have to discover the place as most of the visitors recommended to us. We went there last September, the weather was wonderful, We paid around the £520 mark for a Monday to Friday in a villa that slept six which we think it is reasonable.

The accommodation was very well laid out with everything that you require. Bathroom including shower and toilet, separate toilet, which is very handy. Two double rooms and one single, open plan lounge, diner and kitchen which is quiet a good idea when one of you has to do either the cooking or the washing, up as you can still be in on some of the fun. TV most satellite channels not that you will be in to watch them! Patio with furniture most patios secluded.

Plenty to do from the indoor and outdoor heated pool which is bath water hot! Bowling which I must say was not that expensive, Bars. Many restaurants be warned this is where the money starts to flow, and the supermarket which has enough to get by with.

Center Parcs has also looked to the high street for inspiration in its dining experiences. Both Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia are familiar names to many are also can be found at the Center Parc village. Also their own American diner, pancake restaurant, Sports Cafe and a couple of other snack bars as well as Starbucks coffee. Another thing must be seen for any Elveden visitor is some time out in the Aqua Sana (relax spa).

This holiday for me was brilliant, fantastic time was had by all...

Library resources for globalisation research

I went to holloway road library and i borrowed two really useful books to support me in my essay, the first one was published in USA and it's called Big Business and Economic Development i got so many information about foreign direct investment and its effect on the world and i find out that it does effect the world in positive and negative ways.

The other one was published in Uk in a small city called Basingstoke and it is about Globalization of Multinational Enterprise Activity and Economic Development, as we all know there is no a specific definition of globalization and i spent one week looking for a good definition of globalization and fortunately i found it in this book , "Globalization means homogenization. Pries, products, wages, wealth, and rates of interest and profit tend to become the same all over the world. Under the protection of American military power, globalization proceeds relentlessly" waltz(1999).
